Location: Remote (Hawaiʻi-based preferred)
Hours: 20-30 hours per week (Initial part-time contract with potential to transition to full-time based on fit and organizational needs.)

Job Summary
FoundHer is seeking a creative and strategic Part-Time Marketing Manager to lead our marketing and communications efforts. This role will be responsible for increasing program visibility, promoting all Hawaiʻi FoundHer participants and driving engagement through social media, newsletters, and events. Our goal for publicizing FoundHer is to help generate increased support and revenue thus increasing our reach and opportunities to past, current, and future participants.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a marketing strategy that aligns with FoundHer’s mission and goals.
- Manage and grow FoundHer’s social media presence across platforms;
- Create and schedule engaging, business and culturally relevant content and graphics.
- Write, design, and distribute monthly newsletters, press releases, and promotional materials.
- Lead marketing and outreach efforts for events, fundraising campaigns, applicant recruitment, and alumnae features.
- Collaborate with program staff, alumnae, and community partners to gather and share impactful stories and testimonials.
- Ensure all communications reflect FoundHer’s values and commitment to equity and cultural sensitivity.
- Collaborate marketing efforts with the Purple Maiʻa marketing team
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in marketing, communications, or related fields.
- Strong writing, storytelling, and content creation skills.
- Experience with short-form video creation (e.g., Reels/TikToks)
- Proficiency in managing social media accounts, email campaigns, and digital content creation.
- Familiarity with tools such as Canva, Mailchimp, and Meta Business Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines independently.
- Experience working with Native Hawaiian, Pacific Islander, or Asian communities preferred.
- Passion for entrepreneurship, women’s empowerment, and community-based initiatives.
Nice-to-Have (but not required)
- Knowledge of SEO or digital ad management
- Basic photography or video editing skills
- Familiarity with local Hawaiʻi media and influencer networks
